Bathys, el "atómico" ahora en acero inox

Ahora tienen prototipo para hacer el modelo en acero inoxidable ... igualmente enorme e "imponible". Supongo que lo que queda ahora es ir evolucionando y reducir ese tamaño, el resto de la estética, ya le gustará a unos y a otros no, como todo. Desde luego, siendo consciente de que muy elegante no es, ya es un paso más frente al tocho cuadrado que era.

En mi opinión, Un reloj innecesario frente a la existencia de los radiocontrolados. Poco practico (hay que recargarlo cada dia y medio aunque anuncian que el modelo definitivo llevara una pila tamaño AAA), y definitivamente feo. La ventaja de la tremenda exactitud de un oscilador de cesio se ve debilitada al acoplarlo a un calibre analogico como el Ronda 509, nada extraordinario.
Un proyecto que parece no ir a ninguna parte y que, desde luego, no se va a financiar a través de Kickstarter ( la meta son US$42.000 y han recaudado solo US$2.692 de 24 personas, y tienen hasta el 9 de mayo)

Yo creo que su utilidad sería mandarlo a los "Records Guinness". Carísimo, feo tirando a horroroso, poco o nada ponible, casi inútil al existir los radicocontrolados.....El reloj menos vendible de la historia, aunque como sería exclusivísimo algun fantasma con muuuucho dinero puede picar. Cuando te crees que ya lo has visto todo te dejan anonadadoh::surprised::beurk:

Wow - that was quick - in just three days we hit our $42,000 goal on Kickstarter and currently we are at $68,000! A huge mahalo to all our customers, fans, bloggers, and followers!
You guys create the buzz - I just sit here and dream up crazy ideas - but you are making it happen!

So our campaign is not going to be one of the ones that raises millions of dollars - that's because we're limiting the incentives to ten Cesium 133 watches. I've taken some grief for this from tech bloggers who think I could make a lot more money by doubling or tripling production, and they are right - it's just I'm not greedy nor willing to make something inferior just to make more cash. By limiting this first production to ten pieces we can vastly improve our chances of making a great watch.

All of the Cesium 133 watches are spoken for. Almost all were reserved by guys in London (the story was featured on SkyNews there so they got a jump); though one went to Holland, one to China, and one to the the US. Really looking forward to making something sensational for our backers!

(For fun, google Bathys + Kickstarter; I did it a few days ago and it returned 11,000 hits - today I did it and it's up to 14,800.)

We also got lots of support from backers picking up other incentives such as Lunars, Benthic Tis and 100 Fathom Quartz watches as well as T-shirts and other goodies. This campaign is doing what it's supposed to do - be a rapid infusion of capital for small firms like ours that have great ideas but limited access to loans, lines of credit, etc. THANKS SO MUCH EVERYONE!!
