magnificent photos JM

but in a lake, isn´t a place that like me .... dark and claustrophobic

thanks

I know, lots of divers do think it is claustrophobic, but you should try ... fist not very deep to be used to the bad vis, then deeper when you feel like in an Alien world

Here is a video I took last winter in the same lake, this time the beginning of the video is at 40 meters, total darkness

I am using a canon G11 (even for the video) in a "Fisheye" housing (made in Japan) , the best housing for the Canon G11 IMHO

Yes winter fun is also a piece of fun ... but water is a 4°C so you absolutly need to have a drysuit, here in June I am still using the drysuit in lakes : down the water was at 11°C

and yes my SD is the watch I dive with, even if I have other dive watches : why ? simply because I think it is one of the best ;) : so easy to read, not too big (what a mess thoses big watches when you put your equipment on) , very reliable, and robust. So I collect dive watches but the one which I have choosen for more than 90% of my dive is the Sea Dweller

The nice thing about this lake, which is about 3 hours driving from Paris area, is that it is a technical dive center, you can dive there with rebreathers : this time I have tried a "Revo III" CCR, a VERY nice machine

thoses diving machines allows by far longer dive time than standard open circuit blocks, I do think I'll dive CCR in the future
